Ministerial Approval

  • The Federal Minister for Health, Disability and Ageing has a discretionary power to approve pharmacies in unusual circumstances where a community is left without reasonable access to the supply of pharmaceutical benefits as a consequence of the application of the Pharmacy Location Rules, and approval of the pharmacy is in the public interest.
